Pricing research for the April 2011 publication compared to March 2011 shows increases in the United States and Canada for the Labor and Material report, which measures common material and labor used in claims and remodeling. The Billable Retail Labor Rates report increased slightly in the United States and Canada. The Common Material Only report increased in both the United States and Canada, and the Common Lumber Material report dropped slightly in both countries. The 30-year Laminated Shingle Labor and Material report rose across North America. The information reported here is based on a national average, and it is important to note that actual changes will vary within each individual pricing market.
It is also important to remember that Xactware's published pricing information is based on recently completed surveys and estimate transactions.
